I’ve always thought it’s important to consider a project with a 360-degree perspective. Unfortunately, it happens, with a purely IT perspective, to think only of the code and the program. Instead, thanks to my master, I had the opportunity to learn how to evaluate additional factors such as marketing strategies, opportunity cost, budget, maintenance costs, timing, and more importantly, interaction with other people. Clear and efficient communication is essential, without getting lost in unnecessary technicalities with big words that can give rise to misunderstandings, especially with people not in the IT field.
I have always used Photoshop and Illustrator since I was young. Over the years, I started with simple photomontages until to be a graphic designer for a student association and finally managing other graphic designers. I love to convey feelings through colours and images. These skills combined with the creation of Apps and Websites generate a fantastic synergy. My philosophy is attention to detail is essential.
Thanks to my university that prepares the students with a concrete approach at the informatics I immediately get my hands dirty . From the first day of my Bachelor’s degree until the thesis defense I programmed every day in different programming languages. I did a large number of assignments, group projects, and personal experiments. Only some of them are published in ‘My Portfolio’.
The idea to write something that potentially everybody could read was fascinating. That was the reason why I developed my first website at 13. I learn HTML and CSS as an autodidact. It was just a few static pages. But after three years of creating websites and web applications in JavaScript and in some of its libraries I can assert to possess the right skills to create more complex and functional sites.
